Having lived on Vancouver Island for over 10 years, I found the off-season an amazing time to travel. It's a different world. Mystical, majestic and teaming with life. You can always get the experience you are looking for, from tranquil and quiet to the energy buzz of a city.
Living in the Lower Mainland of BC now, I frequently hear the same way when Asked where I lived before. When I say Vancouver Island the response is "why did you leave? I love Vancouver Island". Now it's time for them not just to love, but experience Vancouver Island year round.
We developed the app to bridge the gap between peoples perception of fall and winter on the islands and what the reality is. Let's encourage travellers to put on a fleece and visit the most amazing place on earth during the other season. They wont regret it.
